Space Invader

You needed space
And I gave it
But with time
Space becomes distance
Eventually you reach the point of no return
So I invaded the silence
Put my courage into words
Hoping that there might be an echo
Where I would hear my words come back
Forgetting that space is a vacuum
Absent of sound
